As we welcome Lars Pedersen as our new CEO, effective January 8, 2025, we stand at the threshold of an exciting new chapter. Reflecting on Fabio Ronga’s legacy

Since co-founding beqom 16 years ago, Fabio Ronga has led beqom with vision and determination, transforming an ambitious idea into a global leader in compensation management. Under his leadership, beqom has expanded its footprint to serve customers in over 160 countries, pioneered solutions for compensation and pay equity, and achieved remarkable milestones, including a 750% surge in new customers in 2024.

Fabio’s transition to Chairman of the Board allows him to remain an integral part of beqom’s future while passing the baton to Lars, who is uniquely equipped to guide us through our next phase of growth.

Originally from Denmark, Lars brings a global mindset shaped by a career that spans multiple countries, including the United States, Sweden, and the United Kingdom, where he currently resides with his family. With decades of experience scaling software businesses and driving transformative growth, Lars is passionate about harnessing the power of innovation to create impactful solutions for customers.

More importantly, Lars shares beqom’s core values, making him a natural fit for the team. His global perspective aligns seamlessly with beqom’s belief in thinking and acting globally, a principle that has guided the company’s success in serving customers around the world. His can-do attitude, another cornerstone of beqom’s culture, reflects his determination to embrace challenges and drive progress. Lars’ leadership philosophy also emphasizes putting people first—employees, customers, and partners alike—fostering a culture of collaboration and trust.
