beqom 2024 Year in Review: Growth, Innovation, and Community
Reflecting on a transformative year for beqom
2024 was a milestone year for beqom. After an inspiring all-company kickoff meeting in Óbidos, Portugal in January, we got to work. We saw tremendous growth, doubled our workforce, strengthened our product leadership, and deepened our commitment to pay equity and AI-driven compensation strategies to help our customers succeed. Here’s a look back at our achievements, innovations, and the community moments that made this year unforgettable.

This year marked our most significant expansion yet. Boosted by the acquisition of PayAnalytics in 2023, in 2024 we nearly doubled our customer base and more than doubled our team. With new employees and an expanded skillset, beqom is better equipped than ever to support our customers with advanced compensation solutions and world-class service.

Local highlights and company culture
We wouldn’t be beqom without the incredible people who make it all possible. This year, our teams across the globe continued to show their commitment, camaraderie, and community spirit, with many memorable moments and traditions that bring us closer together.
Memorable moments from our global offices:
- Annual kickoff in Portugal: We all came together in a unifying event to kickstart the year in beautiful Lisbon, home to one of beqom’s newer international offices.
- Trophée de Marchissy: beqom sponsored, and employees ran in, this local race held in Marchissy, Switzerland, near our HQ and the hometown of our CEO, Fabio Ronga.
- Runmageddon: Team members in Krakow participated in this rugged obstacle course charity event twice this year, showcasing their team spirit and commitment to giving back.
- Poland Business Run: A team of five from our Krakow office took part in this annual charity race supporting people with disabilities and those recovering from mastectomy.
- And let’s not forget breakfast: At our headquarters in Nyon, monthly breakfasts have become a favorite tradition where people bring homemade cakes, biscuits, and of course, chocolates to share. In the New York office, it seems they generally bring bagels.
